ITPC Vancouver is teaming up with Consulate General of Indonesia in Vancouver participating in Vancouver Fall Home Show (VFHS) 2017 on October 26-29, 2017 at the West Building Vancouver Convention Center. This is the third year ITPC Vancouver to join the event.
VFHS 2017 is a trade show for home industry, apartment, interior design and related products. Products display included among others paints, spring bed, home decor, room temperature control system, hygiene product range, household care as well as various services namely design, consultation, insurance and construction services etc. Workshops, seminars, and demonstrations were also the highlights of VFHS 2017.
Indonesia is among 285 exhibitors (large companies and SMEs) participating while the show itself was attended by 40,000 visitors. Products displayed during the show were teak furniture originated from Indonesia, home décors and other home accessories that are environmentally friendly, sustainable, and certified and legally certified.
Indonesian wooden furniture product exports to Canadian market amounted to USD 23.2 million in 2016. Indonesia is enlisted as one of top ten exporting countries to Canada besides China, Vietnam, USA, Italy, Poland and Malaysia. Indonesia’s involvement in this show is to boost exports on furniture and home decor to Canada as its export performance tend to decline over the last few years.

Indonesian products displayed in the show were given positive comments by visitors. In addition, local TVs and magazines requested to review them. This is encouraging and serves as a good promotion for Indonesian products to be more widely recognized in Canada.
